New Design Team Position - CraftyHands - "Shades of the same Colour"

This is how I arrived at my first Design Team Project -
A dear friend of mine asked me to make a gift for her
Aunt's 80th Birthday - she was born in 1934.
So I thought it would be fun to make a Keepsake Box
containing memories from that era -

Here is my project -

I constructed the box from a 12 x 12 inch sheet of 

American Crafts Card Stock.

The card was scored at 4 and 8 inches in both directions

and diagonally in the corners . I then creased along the score lines

 to make the folding box.  

I also make a lid for a 4 inch box.

I printed off papers for both the interior and exterior 

and further embellished with flowers and gems from stash.

Well I've had the opportunity to play with him and

thought that I'd try to warm him up a bit!

Now he looks like he's having a great time!

I just love working with Digis and one of my very

favourite techniques is Paper Piecing.

This Card was created in Photoshop and

Serif Craft Artist Professional 2 using
