A very happy Monday!

A very good morning lovely friends and hope that you are safe and sound following the stormy weather.

I am excited to be able to confirm that I have been chosen to join the Design Team for "My all crafts Challenge" and thank Elaine for this fantastic opportunity. I am currently working on my first Crafty Project for this which is non card related.

I have also been busy over the weekend designing a couple of cards as samples for a Crafty Challenge. Hope you have a lovely day x

A change in Direction

A very good evening lovely people.  I am sharing a coloured image that I crafted today - Promarker alcohol pens and embellishments by Creata.  Until recently I had been a little scared of colouring but I think that that fear is now overcome and I am enjoying my recent change in direction.  Thank your for taking the time to view my blog x

Good Morning

A very good morning to you lovely people and I hope that you have exciting plans for this rather damp and dreary day - at least that s the weather here in Lancashire x

Going to have a tidy up then get on with some Crafting but before I go thought I d share this with you.

The other day I was asked to do a tutorial re colouring and embossing and yesterday I decided
to recolour the topper in CAP2 so here it is and have a lovely day x

Coloured and Embossed topper tutorial

Hi folks and ty for your lovely comments re my coloured and embossed card toppers.

One of the things I really love about the world of craft is that folks are prepared to share.

In this spirit I am now posting some tutorial pics explaining how I created the toppers.

Stamp or choose a printed image
If stamping use and ink like momento
that won t be affected by the alcohol in the pens

Choose your alcohol pens and Distress ink

Choose an embossing folder

Colour the image with alcohol pens and
apply distress ink to the topper and spritz with water
there is no need to be fussy with the blending!

When dry run through the embossing folder

Rub with a gilding wax of your choice and
the topper is ready to go.

Here are some cards I made using this method -
