Cuttlebug frustration part 2

Having ordered the plate which I am looking forward to receiving, I have done some more research on Youtube.  By rotating the die and shimming the centre I have at last got the medallion to cut.
Also I have managed to emboss it too by using the following sandwich - A plate/ B plate /Die with die cut with cut edge upwards/ Rubber mat 3 pieces of card shim and another B plate.

I've had a "Hunkydory" Christmas

Cuttlebug frustration

Well haven't got round to the new Cricut as having all sorts of problems cutting intricate dies on the Cuttlebug especially with the "bendy ink" adorable scorable.  Anyhow done some internet research and it turns out that a metal shim plate is available to buy so it's ordered and I hope that it works.

Also been watching Dawn Bibby on Create and Craft and she inspired me to do some stamping - will post a pici of that card next time.

Finally I'm thinking of Designing a Card Range of my own so will keep you posted.

CHRISTMAS DAY

Well Christmas Day has arrived and I think that Santa has been kind. After the Turkey's cooked and all been fed looking forward to having a play with my Cricut machine and some new embossing folders. Will post my experiments tomorrow.

Never been soooo!! organized for Christmas so sat here with feet up getting used to this blogging thing.
